Guest guest
Jackie, Thanks for your response. I think the term you were looking for is Candida and this alone can also be a serious infection, especially when it is systemic. Many lives are lost from this infection alone, it is not uncommon in a hospital. It is very common when you have catheter, IV and other objects inserted. This is the prime location for this type of infection or any other to start. You may already know diabetics are much more suspectible to fungal infections amongst other things. I found it very interesting during one of our doctor visits I pulled a medical book off the shelf as we were waiting and waiting...... (grin) and just looked up fungal and the first thing listed under fungal was diabeties. I can't explain that correctly why, but I know who can. Doug, are you there???? Maybe you can help explain why this is related. KC > > > > > > > > > > > > How many members here have had their hair fall out? Guest guest
I've heard this also. Perhaps more sugar in their blood? --- In , " tigerpaw2c " <tigerpaw2c@...> wrote: > > Jackie, > > Thanks for your response.
