Guest guest
http://www.laobserved.com/ New CBS 2 memo on 'Fragrance Sensitivity' Channels 2 and 9 news director Bauer has gone on the warpath before against perfume and cologne in the office (as well as against messy desks.) But with the move from Hollywood to the Valley growing closer, she uncorked a new memo reminding staffers that maintaining a neutral smell is not just polite, it is newsroom policy. MEMO Staff From: Bauer Date: 3/8/07 Subject: Fragrance Sensitivity I write with respect to our upcoming move to the new facility at the CBS Studio City Broadcast Center. In a concerted effort to make a more comfortable, healthy and safe work environment for all employees, I would like to remind you of our continued directive, as set forth in my memos of March 2, 2006 and April 5, 2006, that all news area employees (including those working in edit bays, as well as those who spend a good portion of their day working in the field), regardless of assigned shift, refrain from wearing cologne or perfume in addition to any type of body lotion, after shave lotion, deodorant, etc. that are related to cologne or perfume product. Again, please know that I appreciate and expect full cooperation from every individual. If you have any questions, please contact me. Thank you.
