Important issue to us: European proposal to establish open access library of scientific research

This is really important.

Without access to scientfic research, we are all really in trouble,

and access to scientific papers continues to become more and more

difficult. The authors of these peer reviewed papers don't get

anything. The peers who review the papers don't get anything. Running

web sites is not that expensive that it justifies the prices that they

charge for access to papers. Many university libraries can't even

afford these journals anymore.

The only reason it is happening is to restrict access to information.
