Guest guest
Before my last doctor graduated from the residency program, one of the many many tests he ran on me was an AIDS test. I came home and told my husband, and my husband was like " Why did he run that-???? " I knew there was no way I would have AIDs and I knew there was way my husband would have AIDs...just like there is no way I could get pregnant, but I still get tested for pregancy before an x-ray every now and then…some docs just feel more comfortable in ruling out these things so I cooperate!! BUT, I was in such an ill shape, that I did not care what tests the doc ran, the more the merrier for me! Of course, I was negative for AIDs...I was not worried about that anyway. I was just going along with any tests the doc wanted to run, I was so sick and he was just running every test he knew of that had to do with a low immune. I was going on my 6th months of poison ivy, which was resisting treatment and getting worse. I had lumps on me the size of eggs. I had lost my back teeth due to one infection after another. I could not breathe. I had all sorts of infections popping up such as kidney, bladder, sinus and etc. I know I was in a dying state at that time so my doctor ran every test the residency program would allow him to run in his residency program that had to do with the immune as well as other tests. He was surprised to find, I had diabetes, pancretitis and NASH as well as a few other things that I can't recall right now because they are gone. My blood pressure was always too low. Concerning the NASH, at that time, I was NOT over weight... (My skinny sister had just passed from NASH which turned to cirrhosis. This is something that is inherited. If my siblings and I take care of our livers, we are OK...that means no Tylenol or any other thing that goes through the liver). He even ran one for mold but it came back negative. I don't get that because the mold house was diagnose with a major mold problem by my city building inspector, a contractor and the insurance person (mold was not covered in insurance). I even saw mushrooms grow on my walls! But anyway, I had several repeats of the tests that came back as positive BUT, later, they started coming back negative. I was in great pain when I was diagnosed with pancreatitis and was told I would always have it. Well, I don't have it now so I have no idea what was up with that. I don't have the NASH or diabetes either. I even had a positive sleep study for sleep apnea and the last time I went, there was no apnea but the doctor said he did not want to take a chance and take me off of the c-pap. I also had a need for glasses and then not a need and then a need. I had allergy test that were positive for this and that and then they come back negative. I asked my doctor why all of my testing were coming back so wishy washy and he said he had no idea and he wished he knew what he could do to help me. He said sometimes disease took time to manifest and he would keep trying as long as he was in the residency program. He was such a good doctor and had he not graduated, he would have continued to test me until he found out what was wrong. He was honest and he never tried to blame my condition on stress as had the up-most concern and respect for my health and well being. He was one of a kind. This new doc I have really made me mad last time I went, last week in fact. I had some serious breathing issues the night before. Well, the doctor said he could tell by listening to my lungs they were not exchanging air as they should be...then dumb doctor turns around after saying he could hear my lungs were not exchanging air, and says it was stress related panic attacks, I know what a panic attack feels like as I was treated for them once so this really made me mad mad mad!!! Then said to up my nebulizer treatments to 4 times a day!! @@..He had done that the time before. If he thought it was panic, why didn't he give me a panic pill??? One problem I am having as of late, I have like a traveling pain. At first I thought it was muscle. I have noticed, there is usually a small lump in the location of the pain. I have been to the doctor for this but the lump seems to travel to the next place it will start hurting at and usually by the time I get an appointment, the pain is gone and so is the lump. So again, the doc most likely thinks I am crazy amd making this stuff up!! Last night I had this pain and the small lump in the location of the pain, now it is gone and so is the pain. Anyone have any idea what this could be??? Well, here is my saga now. 3 weeks ago I noticed a leak in this new house we moved into. It was so clean, dry and sits on a beautiful 28 acres with a pond. I love it here but the landlord has not yet fixed the leak. This is freaking me out in a big time way!! We really checked this house out in a major way before we moved here! There was nothing wrong with it and now there are 2 leaks! This will cause mold! I can't keep moving and running from mold!
