Guest guest
Hi Kat, I'm so sorry that your marriage has to end, but as you said, it's the best thing for you. I don't blame you for doing this. As I did the very same thing. I couldn't handle the verbal abuse. He was killing me spiritually and I had to get away from him and I did. It's been over 10 yrs now and I still don't regret it. You will soon be free and much happier. I'm sure you will feel as if a weight has been lifted off your shoulders once it's over. That's the feeling I had. I could stand a little more straight. I hope you are having a good day and welcome back home! ~Tommie~ www.myspace.com/tommiejj PH, CFS, FMS, Diabetes, Sleep Apnea, Restless Leg Syndrome Don't waste energy second-guessing what you're missing or what can go awry. If you put enough energy into doubt, something will undoubtedly go wrong. Instead, focus on the positive possibilities with a hopeful attitude. hi all Ijust got back from my friends house in Florida, and have finally decided to move away from my partner of 16 years. The emotional berating has gotten to me,I guess I finally woke up and realized I don't have to live like this anymore. I have enough pain to deal with without someone making you feel worse about everything then you already do. Thanks to all who gave me support and sharing your stories with me,feel free to mail me anytime. It means so much to me that there are people who can understand how difficult it is to live in pain every day,and offer a place like this. Thanks again, kat

Guest guest
My great great grandfather Fergusan was from Glascow. When I lived in England for a time I got a dress Fergusan Kilt. I don't know what happened to it but it was really nice. Welcome to the group. Wish I could hear your accent as well. I knew a couple of guys while I was over there....one from Glasgow who's accent I could not follow and one from Edinburgh. I could understand him. He had a very musical accent. We loved to challenge our accents. They really know how to play with a yankee accent. Damn!! Do we really sound like that to y'all? I remember the word " Bloody " was a real challenge once...man...that was funny. I kept saying that is was an adjective and described the finger that was bleeding...and the lady had to pull out a dictionary to try to prove I was cussing and that " Bloody " was not a valid word. She came back with that dictionary announcing " She's right " . See? Not a bad word...lol.;-} Oh wow....memory lane. I truly loved the UK and all it's fantastic history and can understand the British thing about Ghosts. You can " feel " the history like it was a solid thing. Anyway....welcome.
