Guest guest
I am wondering about effects and symptoms other's have noticed in their cats and dogs. I've read postings from members who have lost dogs from mold in their homes, and suspect it was a factor in the death of my dog. My dog died of complications from vestibular syndrome, which seems to be due to inflammation in the nerves connecting the inner ear to the cerebellum (which controls balance and spatial orientation). She could not stand, eat or drink. Nerve inflammation - sounds like it could be mold-mediated to me! Now, my son has noticed that my cat's joints make a cracking sound with his every move. I am unable to hear it due to hearing loss (mold induced). Could his joint problems be mold related or maybe it's just an aging thing? Guest guest
I had two cats get cancer, one go blind, both got imbalance, one got hair loss and I had to put both to sleep and YES I realize now it was due to my toxic house but you think the VET knew this, NO. I have 8 more animals with one being here the longest with the deceased cats and will see if they ever get affected. Poor kitty cats....I feel so bad they had to live here before remediation. Guest guest
Tug. Believe it or not, vets are much more in tune with these type things. I woould call first and ask but my vet gave my dog anti fungals, anti fungal shampoo to wash her with because she has sores just like I did (so much for the delusions huh?) and she has done fine. She still has some breathing issues but she is a ripe 13 years old going long past her 10 year expectancy. My male was not so lucky. I have a picture of him on the board. He went instantly blind when he was removed and in the end has lost one of his eyes as it sort of melted and drained out. My ex has him but last I heard he ended up doing fairly well. They are pappilons so they have incredible hearing and so his other sences kicked in. But he did survive. In a nutshell you will have much more understanding from the vet. Tug, I share your struggles. I am on yesr five of this nightmare and have not even had a deposition yet. I am depressed nearly all the time and am reminded of my illness with every tick of the clock. It is as if my first 40 years were lived by someone else and I am a 44 year old baby learning knew things everyday and forgeting much of it every night. It is a struggle that keeps me from one end of the spectrum to the other. Mostly the other. Honestly as sad as this sounds the only thing that keeps me going now is pretty much anger. I went through a couple of years learning what had happen to me and directly into the fact that the country seems to be being dismantled which is a big deal to me as I am very patriotic so that keeps me busy reading what I can as my vision is a joke anymore and watching alot of news ect ect. That keeps me busy for a moment but in the end it reminds me of how what has happened to us has been denied us as well and back in bed I go. Its a vicious cycle. All I want is some kind of life back (oops that got Tony Hayward of BP in trouble) I want to not live with and have to rely on anyone else. I employ you to keep up with your lady no matter what. NO ONE else out there seems to understand. My wife left me before we even knew what was going on. Ive dated twice which was a completye waste of time so I have had to learn to be happy alone. Sounds like she loves you and understands at least as much as she can. Good luck my friend, you are not alone...
