Need your opinion

Cheryl, I am so sorry to hear how sick you are. I am a former teacher and

had many symptoms while in my school. I never did have the rash but many others,

including students, did. Some were even told they had scabies without ever

being tested for it!! When they went to a dermatologist they were told it was

dermatitis.I had debilitating fatigue along with muscle/joint pain, blinding

headaches, dizziness, SOB, racing heart and was even taken to the ER for

symptoms of heart attack. A heart cath proved my heart in excellent condition!!

I had slurred speech, blurred vision, itchy skin, muscle twitches,sever

memory loss, and couldn't sleep at night. I went from Dr. to Dr. who tested me

for everything but found nothing. My family Dr. finally told me that I had a

virus that would eventually go away! To make a long story short I didn't give

up because I thought I was DYING!!! This was 4 yrs. ago, so it took me a few

months to find the answers and to find Dr. Shoemaker. I can't say enough good

things about him.

I have been a patient of his since Dec. 2003. I have followed his

directions, to the letter, and am doing so much better but will never be 100%

well.

If you tested positive on the VCS test then you are headed in the right

direction to Pocomoke! Fill out the paperwork so you can get an appt.ASAP!! The

sooner you get there the better. If you need to spend the night, I recommend

the Holiday Inn Express. I've stayed there without any problems but others

have said they can't.

I suggest you get a copy of Dr. Shoemaker's book and start reading. You will

probably see yourself on almost every page & as a nurse you will understand

it all. Please tell your husband that it is a VERY real illness that most

Drs. just do not understand. It is a multisystem/multisymptom and life

threatening illness.

Hi everyone, I've been reading, but not posting here on your site and

would like to get some opinions. I'm dealing with so many issues, I

don't know which ones to concentrate(don't know which ones to concentrat

on. I've been sick for 5 yrs. now, started as a skin rash w/open

lesions and then in to FM/CFS & chronic resp. infections. Last yr., I

discovered parasites & fibers(Morgellons) in the toilet and on/in my

skin. Around that same time, we were treated for bed bugs, skin

mites & athletes foot. I saw a strange growth on my hairs and used

Minoxidil for 1 week for thinning and to kill whatever. At the end

of that week, all of my hair fell out; eyelashes & eyebrows not

growing back. Had home and condo tested, both pos. for Cladisporum,

yeast, altenaria and Bacillus Type I & II. My husband doesn't

believe one can get ill for mold. I got Dr. SHoemakers paperwork,

trying to complete so I can make an appt. The things bothering me

the most are the things I'm seeing in my home: unusual amts. of dust,

fibers & dust flying in my face, threads coming out of clothes,

towels etc., white threads & black specs everywhere(even fridge &

stove), a greasy yellow film on all furniture, appliances, counters,

head board & off our skin. My VCS was positive, sleep study showed

seizures and severe sleep apnea, no REM sleep, EEG abnormal, IgG

critically low; detox pads show toxic in 5 diff. metals: the Drs.

have no explanation for any of this. 5 yrs. ago, I was a working

chemo nurse now I hardly make it out of bed or even get dressed. My

brain feels like it's turning to mush. Does any of this sound

familiar to anyone else's mold experience? Sorry so long!
