I'll look into it. Sue I don't know what you can afford or want to spend but the best is Sante Fe for free standing. It has a MERV 11 filter so it keeps it clean and from growing mold but it's expensive. Put Sante Fe into google. OR you could duct your heating and cooling ducts through a Therma Stor and have a whole house dehumidification. Made by the same company, with a MERV 11 or 14 filter, UltraAire. These are really the Cadillac of dehumifiers. I'd like to have one. Right now I have a Whirlpool. Does okay. However in summer I have three going and sometimes can't keep the humidity below 50% BUT I am pulling in fresh air by a fresh air intake that is humid so probably they harder job than in homes without a fresh air intake. They have no filter on them but perhaps you can put some filter fabric over opening (not too tight or you dehumidifier may overheat) but something to keep dehumidifier cleaner. ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
