Live,

It's not a perfect solution I'll give you that much.

I was thinking more along the lines of products like asbestos, breast

implants, industrial illnesses, vaccines, car defects. All things we

need and want until they harm us and than we change our minds.

But Live has a good point. If we do this what's to stop a already

sloppy industry from becoming even more sloppy. Like I said it's not

perfect. My thinking was all the lives that could have been saved if

we stopped using asbestos as soon as we knew their was a problem or

breast implant's, or vaccines, etc. It seems now that they continue to

produce them just to give the appearance that everything is ok with

them knowing that their just killing more people simply to give the

appearance that their is no problem with it. That and to see how far

they can pinch a penny.

I think we can all agree that pesticide company's actions are

unconscionable. They are needlessly destroying people and the

environment and no one seems to care. And it's completely

premeditated. They know beyond a shadow of a doubt what they are

doing. I have no doubt they know their products cause mold sensitivity

and continue to market them regardless.

I just heard on the radio that atrazine is affecting plankton

adversely in the ocean. Do I need to spell out what happens if the

ocean dies? Let's put it this way, we won't have to worry about the

greenhouse effect anymore.

I often marvel at the crap we throw at this planet and it still seems

able to support us. Truly amazing, but for how long? I really think

a lot of the people marketing this crap don't care becuase they figure

they won't be around to have to deal with it when it finally does

take it's toll.

It's only part of the solution. Greed and people with criminal minds

will always be working to find away around any system. It would only

protect people who want to do the right thing but don't come forward

out of fear of losing their " all they own " in many cases. They still

would have much loss, homes that noone can inhabit, product that

cannot be sold after perhaps decades of creating. That is enough loss

for honest people who were trying to do honest business. Still have

to get lobbiest out of Washington and government regulations and real

institutes of science that aren't run by industry but government, an

FDA that is not full of pharmacy connections.

HI Doug,

Yes, I have heard that the psychiatrist is usually worse off than the patient

- I like the name of your job though. I think most psychological problems have a

biological base if not all. That is the real shame of how we treat people with

mental illness in the US.

But I don't mind being " crazy " - it is a badge of honor with this-

take care,

Val
