Guest guest
The Today Show had a segment on less toxic cleaning products in their " Spring Cleaning " series. Here are some weblinks to greener, less toxic products featured on their show: On the Web: www.cleanenvironmentco.com www.bi-o-kleen.com www.oxyboost.com
Guest guest
Barb, Why do you imply that all cleaning products are toxic. It seems to me that the products most people use (like soap, for example) are not toxic and its only the highly chemical-y ones that are. People lived for thousands of years not using toxic chemicals. They are not 'essential elements of modern life' as you and have been implying. Many people, including virtually all the people I know from China and India, spent most of their lives (growing up) in situations where these toxic chemicals were virtually unknown in their environments. (of course, it isn't like that in those countries now) They are perfectly modern, healthy people, with good - well above average - incomes, living in the US - now. Guest guest
I hope that some people understood what I said. Obviously, those aren't my words, I was relaying what was said on the Today Show. > > > > The Today Show had a segment on less toxic cleaning products in > > their " Spring Cleaning " series. Guest guest
Barb, please accept my apology.. I was just molding out. ie..Not your fault.. you were just the messenger.. But, do you see what I mean? I guess, what was bugging me was the way that was " framed " .. by them.. the implication being that ALL cleaners were BY NECCESSITY *toxic*. I guess what I see that really bugs me is how even the most innocent TV shows seem to be being recruited as messengers in a sort of war against us.. to associate in our GULLIBLE minds the idea that cleaners ARE toxic.. *that there's no way around that* so that we might as well accept that those of us who can't deal with those toxic chemicals are the ones who are wrong - and not the society that accepts their use and the sickening of more and more people as 'necessary'. Guest guest
Thanks for clearing up LS. Yes, I see what you mean. I don't know what they were meaning to convey about cleaners. Sometimes I think there is alot of PR <<against>> the supplement industry and that makes me angry but one does need to be careful of using supplements appropriately. They are by no means harmless. However they are sooooo innocent by comparison of anything the pharmacy industry puts out.
