Guest guest
hi there... so i guess i'm confused, who writes for your pain meds? i go to, actually I interviewed him and explained that the only way i would be his patient would be that he needed to complete the proper paperwork, he had to listen to me and how i was feeling both with my meds and physical and, most importantly, he had to be willing to work together as part of my treatment team which meant any tests he wanted to do besides getting approval from the insurance companies he needed to discuss with my surgeon as he was totally in charge of my treatment. my pain doctor has his own pain management group and does everything right there when able. it really angers me when patients are treated so poorly when we are the ones who are supposed to be in charge. with my surgeon, i do what he tells me to do and when because he's in charge but i still have a say in everything. i guess i'm lucky i've found doctors who are willing to work with me. ________________________________ To: Hugs-N-Pain Sent: Sunday, December 7, 2008 6:28:25 PM Subject: Re: What tests for cervical problems are there? I've been to Pain Management doctor, he did the medial branch blocks on my cervical are on 10-15, didn't work for me and has turned me back over to my Neurosurgeon, been waiting since 10-29 to see him. My appt. finally is on Tuesday, that is if he doesn't cancel me again for another patient like he did last week. I've been trying to get help with pain and headaches since July. > > > > > > > > > > I've had x-rays,MRIs, C-Spine CT Scans, what else is there? > > > > > > > > > > Margee' > > > > > Eastern WA > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
