Guest guest
I've not had Mylogram with dye. Someone told me there were other tests they could be doing for my cervical area to find out what's causing all of my pain and headaches. Guest guest
good morning... to determine if there is nerve damage caused by the herniated disc putting pressure on the spinal cord, there is also a nerve conduction test. That i have had done for my cervical injury. its annoying but necessarily painful. the place needles, such as with acupuncture, into the major nerves in both arms and hands and then they used very gentle electric " shock " . the needles have electrodes which are attached to the monitor which then determines the level of conduction. i've had it done for my neck (arms and hands) and my legs (for my back). honestly, i'm not sure of what other major tests that can be done. my surgeon has only ordered the mri, cat, etc, and my pain specialist orders the nerve tests. i suggest you speak with a pain specialist who can do his own treatment, mine injects steroids into my neck and shoulders and even into a spot in the back of my head to stop my headaches and other pain as they relate to my neck. he/she can do a referral to a doctor specifically for the nerve conduction. for your headaches, first step could be PT, find a really good pain management specialist. take care.. i hope that helps. anymore questions or suggestions feel free. andria > > > > > > > > I've had x-rays,MRIs,C-Spine CT Scans, what else is there? > > > > > > > > Margee' > > > > Eastern WA > > > > > > > > > >

My appt. finally is on Tuesday, that is if he doesn't cancel me again for another patient like he did last week. I've been trying to get help with pain and headaches since July. > > > > > > > > > > I've had x-rays,MRIs,C-Spine CT Scans, what else is there? > > > > > > > > > > Margee' > > > > > Eastern WA > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
