I don't know if anyone watched this but basically they demolished old

home, so that was easier than trying to figure out if house was

healthy or not (maybe they do this always, never watched it before).

New house had all hardwood floors finished with hard coating that

makes them easy to clean and central air cleaner. I noticed soft

furniture in main room was leather or vinyl covered. Not much we

don't know about already.

Forgot..reason for need for healthy house was due to daughter who

had " hole in heart " . I believe KC posted something about this and

susceptability to infection. She had rather large hole in her heart.

Dr Cheney, CFS doctor, believes many CFS patients have underlying

heart problems and specifically finds many with 'hole in heart'. Hole

can be very small. I had test for hole in heart at recommendation of

cardiologist who felt my symptoms were consistent with hole in heart.

They put some air bubbles into blood vein and watches their trip on

ultrasound machine. I didn't have hole in heart but small amount of

mitral valve prolapse, heart valve doesn't close completely, which

also makes one susceptible to infections of heart. Just an FYI.

I wonder if they desided that risk of mold returning with remediation

wasn't worth trying. I know they remediated at least one home,but I

think that was the first one with mold that they had done. a teen age

boy was very sick from it in his bedroom walls. they remediated and

added on. remember they didn't really know much than about it, think

they are getting better, but I forget when it's on so haven't watched

it lately. makes me to emotional too. I cry for them and for everyone

going through this and I cry for myself. than I get mad and bumbed out

because I have 2 homes and can't live in either one.

They didn't mention mold, or any building or indoor air quality

problems. They just said she needed extra clean air and was kind of

confined to her room alot because parents had an air cleaner in there,

small one. I thought it interesting that they started out by

demolishing home. Good thing if one can afford to have a fresh

start.
