Guest guest
sorry Live, seems to be a major problem. it took me awhile to realize that neighbors redoing theri roofs from hail damage was makeing me suffer. than I had that really bad hit outside which I know from the effects was mycotoxins. makes sence that dry mold spores and myco's are in all homes, just like dust, just waiting for moisture or someone to stir it up and set it free in the wind again. only thing I know is to try to make your place tight as possible from air drafts letting it in and wipe everything down with vinigar or ammonia and water.hope you get to felling better. you might also try a spray bottle, mister with either to knock down dust and mold in your air. sadly the symptoms cant get better until your air gets cleaner. we all really do need our own island to live on so we can manage our exposures. hard to warm up to neighbors when theri always makeing you suffer from theri mowing, bbqing, remodeling, ect. --- In , LiveSimply <quackadillian@...> wrote: > > Hello, > > I am wondering if anyone has any advice for me. Guest guest
I know this sounds crazy but how sealed is your house? As bad as you described the building being torn down, I would take tape and seal up the windows. I have used clear plastic and taped around my windows when I felt something was really making me sick. I was getting ready to do this with our windows last week when the pollen was so bad. Thankfully it rained so I did not need to do the plastic and tape thing. We did this to our fire place recently. For some reason, it stinks like old burnt wood when there is not a fire in it so we close the, vents and buck stove doors and seal it with plastic and tape. It does not look like Better Homes and Gardens but it helps so much. Someone on here suggested Magnesium for my asthma. I did a search on it and found it helps with cramps as well as constipation. I have been using it and find I am in a much better mood...LOL..I don't know if the mood was because I might have winter depression and it is spring or if the Magnesium helped. I do know from my search that it aids in relief in cramps especially. --- In , LiveSimply <quackadillian@...> wrote: > > Hello, > > I am wondering if anyone has any advice for me. Guest guest
Live, I suppose it's the fibromyalgia but if you have it, exercise makes you very, very sore and weak from CFS, I tried and I started slow thinking that would help,I first tried just some arm exercises and they became very sore right afterwards which is nothing like normal ackes the next day from activity that normal people have. what a bummer, fat and no muscles, I hate it. I could tell that if I kept trying it would also get me to that 'run over by a truck' stage.--- In , LiveSimply <quackadillian@...> wrote: > > Hi Jackie, > > You know, I don't know. Guest guest
Hi Live, What is so bad about having been ill from mold in the past, it seems we have a tough time getting our immune system up to a healthy standard again. As far as exercise, it can't hurt if you are able to get out and walk a little. Over doing it may make the musles hurt worse. I was pretty much doing no exercises for 3 years after I got mold. Plus, the neighborhood we moved to excape the mold was was as toxic as mold, crime wise, so there was really no where to walk. Right now I live a few acres so I can walk more. I do tend to hurt and this is still going on 3 months of walking up and down hills daily. But, I am doing a lot of walking now. I guess I was so out of shape it will take awhile to take the walks with out hurting from the muscles having exercise in several years. I guess what I am trying to get around to, exercise is important and I wish I had not allowed myself to get so out of shape. Being so sick it was hard to do anything and the bad neighborhood did not help either. Now I wished I had made an attempt to walk around the house a few times during the past few years. I do think walking will help you in the long run, especially if you can get out doors in a different area than you live in, like a walking track or other out door place. I would stay away from exercising in the area of the building. But, I don't know..I am just a person with no professional experence. How long have you felt like this? You may have a bad virus making you feel so bad..that's another thing mold does to us. We are always so ill that we can't tell the difference between mold illness and if we have a virus, flu and etc! It is all a drag! I hope you get better soon! Jackie > > > > > > Hello, > > > > > > I am wondering if anyone has any advice for me.
