Guest guest
Actually I'm not Bach, but it was a nice typo, so I left it. I absolutely love the Brandenburg concertos. I worked at summer camp for a number of years. My favourite way to wake up sleepy campers was to play the Brandenburg concerto number 6 (BVW 971) very loudly . . . . made them jump every time =) I've also recently discovered his Cello suites. I first heard Yo Yo Ma playing them, but I settled on a wonderful Hungarian Cellist. It wasn't as good as Ma's work, but it was $20 cheaper! Ahhhhhhhhh .... Anyway, I'm not here to discuss music with a bunch of deaf people, God knows I'll be deaf soon enough ... what I wanted to say was that I did make it back before surgery like I wanted to. So I just want to say, here I go away again! As I mentioned before, Surgery is on Weds. (thanks for all the fan mail so far, honestly I feel more popular than Elvis!). Tomorrow afternoon is the briefing. I've stopped my NF2 mailings for now .... I really don't want to come back in 7-10 days (remember that scene from My Girl about 7-10 days?), and find the ol' mail server choked with HUNDREDS of posts -- my ISP won't like it =) I'll likely be home until Wed. morning ... no idea what time OR is yet. Thanks to everybody who has given me advice, etc ... I shaved my head last night =) There is a crewbie who lives in Edmonton, and I gave you my friend's email address. She's gonna kill me when she opens her mailbox Thurs. morning and finds 50 messages waiting .... she's a doctor, so it's OK. I don't know what I plan to do after surgery, get a tatoo, yes, but other than that ... I'll just have to see how things go. I'll attempt to send a report as soon as I can get online. I know a student computer lab in the UofA hospital, and normally I look enough like a student that I can just sneak in; I have a feeling that won't be applicable this time =) Well, farewell friends! I know it is still " only Monday, " but the next few days are likely to be a blur ... (whooohooooo, yeah blur, but not that kind) Salut,
