Guest guest
, You won't find a file on the group for natural remedies and there won't be one either. The reason is everyone is different and what works for one may not work for another. Some people have had severe reactions to some natural products that have suggested here. I have already been accused of promoting or advertising different types of products just because I posted the information. This has never been the case. None of the information that I post is etched in stone, take it for what it is worth. Some, thinking that I have researched or am using try the " medication " and got very sick. I will not be held responsible if someone has a reaction to a medication, natural or otherwise, that they found in a folder on Sickbuildings. I am not just saying this to you directly, this is to everyone. Guest guest
Hi , I have a similar problem to yours. Partly due to exposure to mycotoxins, partly due to ageing, my mental and physical strenght have declined with years. When I'm under the influence of mycotoxins I suffer from the usual disorientation, mental confusion, bad memory, fatigue, nausea, urge to vomit etc. For the past 5-6 years I've also suffered from the " afternoon sleepiness " . It's not your usual afternoon nap, rather it's a 3-4 hour nightmare marathon - resulting in that half of my day is lost. I searched the net a lot about this, and stumbled across the Coenzyme Q10. I bought it last week, so it's early to report any final results, but I can say it really did help with the afternoon sleepiness. Now I don't have to sleep in the afternoon at all! I don't know if it's placebo, or if it's due to something entirely different (such as change in diet or weather changes), but it's quite noticeable. it wasn't cheap (about $20 for 30 tablets). The label doesn't mention any adverse effects, but I suspect it causes me constipation. Not sure yet whether that's related or not. Will report after 30 days. You might give it a try. I've tried pretty much everything (ginseng, ginko, all vitamins etc.) nothing helped as this. However I haven't tried NAC. -Branislav
Guest guest
Hi , I know how you feel; I spend most of my days in bed, too tired to do anything. I do have to say though, I have found a product that helps w/the fatigue(I ran out & boy can I tell!). Check out CoQ10, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Acetyl L-Carnitine product @ Vitacost.com Read the description: antioxident, enhanced energy production & cognitive function!! If you try it, hope it works for you! Wishing you better days ahead! Hugs, Cheryl
Guest guest
I too thought part of my " sleepyness " was partly due to aging along with the mold. Now that my 90 year old mother is in assit care living, I visit and I see all of these really old people getting up early and going all day long to various activities. They have more energy than I!! In fact, my mom never napped until last year when she was dignosed with diabeties that she did not develop until she was 89...she was always very active. Heck, my mom was like a " live wire! " She would get up very early and be wide awake and cook 3 meals a day. I can't remember her ever napping during the day. She was out cleaning her 50 rental houses until she was around 70 and then she sold them. She said they were to much for her but she was still a live wire...I think it was more she was tired of cleaning houses...I don't blame her for that!! She still canned and froze her own veggies from her garden until she was around 82. She had polio when she was little and I know had she not gotten " polo syndrome " when she was around 80, she would still be walking and taking care of her home. I don't think it is normal to get tired as we age....maybe slow down but not out and out worn out to nothing as some of us are! > > Hi , > > I have a similar problem to yours.
