Or mycotoxins.

Just as I was hoping that the mycotoxin contamination storm from the

previous Summer was coming to its end, and when my life slowly started

to normalize, a few days ago I was in for a horrific surprise.

I thought I sensed that the pavement (which is only 40 meters away

from my building) below my feet was emanating mycotoxins. This was

very strange because the ground (be it pavement, cement or soil)

almost never contained enough mycotoxins to make me ill. This time it

was different though. I crouched down to the ground to tie the

shoelace and immediately sensed powerful " current " of mycotoxins. I

think the sun also helped in evaporation.

How the mycotoxins came there.... is something I don't know. Probably

someone had them on their shoes, or an automobile with contaminated

tires passed through the area.

The bottom line is, when I came home I sensed that the PLASTIC items,

and especially RUBBERY plastic items were the first to pick up the

contamination. Harder plastic (such as the one my computer keyboard is

made of) is much more resilient to mycotoxin absorption.

Has anyone noticed this? That rubbery type of plastic is the first to

absorb mycotoxins, while hard plastic, wood and even some types of

clothing can be washed? I jsut had to throw away a completely new

jacket just because it had some rubbery plastic on the shoulder part.

Also a new remote control for TV has rubbery plastic keys - it got

contaminated very fast, unlike the older one whose keys were made of

hard plastic and thus was much more resiliant to mycos.

So far only H2O2 proved to be an effective mycotoxin degradation agent

for me. Any idea for something else that could work for rubbery

plastic? Is there a substance that can penetrate rubbery plastic too?
