Guest guest
Just an FYI to the group, I am missing an unknown number of posts (including my own) from the other day. Because mycotoxins can and do affect multiple systems including our neurological and endocrine systems, a number of physiological functions become altered. There are many complex aspects to our sexual drive. In regard to endorphins these are neurotransmitters along with, dopamine and serotonin etc. which are produced in the brain that are responsible for our feelings of well-being. In depression these neurotransmitters are not functioning properly. Serotonin is especially related to depression which is why a popular type of anti-depressant drugs are called SSRI's having to do with serotonin reuptake. Endorphins are the bodies natural opiates and are related to reducing physical pain and feeling good. The runners high for joggers that we hear about is for real because physical exercise will increase endorphin levels. Laughing will also increase this. Studies show that acupuncture is effective because it stimulates the neurotransmitters especially endorphins. Some studies have shown that being out in nature increases endorphin levels. So yes, get lots of exercise, walk every day, do yoga and tai-qi and anything healthy that can also get us laughing again to boost our endorphins. Stay away from excessive amounts of alcohol and or narcotics which will initially increase neurotransmitters only to eventually end up depleting them and causing long term problems. Guest guest
Good post, also people in winter let the sun in to help with depression. I let the sun shine in and it also warms thing up a bit since my inlaws keep the heat at 55. Can't wait for my move at the end of month.
