OTTAWA - Health Canada is advising consumers not to use certain lots

of Salivart Oral Moisturizer, because the product may be

contaminated with mould or yeast. Using the affected product may

cause health problems such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Consumers with reduced immunity due to illness or immunosuppressant

medications may be at increased risk of more severe reactions.

Salivart Oral Moisturizer is promoted as a natural treatment for dry

mouth. One lot of the affected product has been distributed in

Canada. The lot number is 06BB002, with an expiration date of 06-08.

The lot number and expiration date are located at the bottom of the

product container.

The manufacturer Gebauer Company is recalling all the affected

products, which are available at retail stores and may be purchased

over the Internet. For Canadians who may have purchased the product

over the Internet, the complete list of the affected products' lot

numbers and expiration dates are:
