Guest guest
After our story aired on WJBF TV we (and WJBF) received several articles from various physicians on fungal/mold illnesses. BTW, This Dr. actually worked here in Harlem, Ga and at MCG, some years ago. (I'll attempt to post those soon) He stated MCG is very conservative. To think all the people they could have warned - instead they tell the public there is no such thing? these toxins do not exist? Strange, MCG (Augustsa, Ga) is allocated millions each year for research (and to train physicians and 1st responders to treat initially and thru recovery) on biolgical type injuries. As a matter of fact, as I sat in their plush conference room waiting to show them a wealth of helpful documentation - I picked up a book, I'm pretty sure, MCG physicians authored with an entire chapter on trichothecene? Yellow Rain? it clearly stated how poisonous this agent is. It also clearly stated it's produced form fungi/molds such as fusarium, stachy. etc. Yet mycotoxins do not exsit? Does this even make sense? WJBF is still receiving phone calls. I think the longer we keep these stories alive - the bigger impact and follow up stories. You can still post comments on www.wjbf.com/midatlantic/jbf/news_index.apx.-content-articles-JBF- 2007- 02-22-0002.html Also MCG is getting many calls with complaints against them for implying these mycotoxins are nonexistence. I think the phone calls and comments are getting someone's attention. If you feel led to contact them. their main numner is 706 721 0211 Voice your concerns with Public relations Dept or Christiano in Human Services research (grants, etc) I got a call from an ABC affiliate station today. They were amazed to see 5 pages of comments from sick people and also phsycians who support us. (this is just WJBF website comments as they have no idea how many called the tv station or emailed them. This affilate tv station is supposed to contact me about picking up on this story of national concern -MOLD and your health - in their area. Their producers will be looking at this site later today or early in the morning..so keep the comments coming in if you can. And if you feel led to contact WJBF in Augusta, Ga. Please tell them you want to leave morrison a message. Her number is 706 828 7303 I think KC posted the main number..I can't access it right now. There may be a march soon in Ga (state Capital). . It's being planned and I'll be meeting with some supportive physicians as well in the near future. It will hopefully get media attention beforehand and ANYONE with health concerns due to mold related illness or mcs, will be welcome to attend. I'll keep KC updated. Thanks for your support. iris & Tlee
