Guest guest
Hi, I went to an endodonist this week for pulpitis problem in a couple of teeth. One of the tests he did was to apply a cryogenic chemical to make my teeth cold. It's called ethyl chloride. I'm wondering if this is a neurtoxin. I'm reading about it on Wikipedia and a dental school website. I have multiple chemical sensitivities after our house was moldy and we had to move. Anyone heard about this used in dentistry diagnostics? It can't be a good thing to have that applied to your teeth just to see if the pulp in your tooth hurts worse. Does anyone know about this? I think I need to find a dentist that doesn't use chemicals like that. Jocelyn
