I can assure you that no federally funded time was spent on this. Dr. Greenberg and I did this strictly on week-ends and evenings as a personal effort. I am sorry you found this offensive. Kirkland, MPH {Note: Ms. Kirkland is the Executive Director of the American Occupational and Environmental Clinics. These clinics are funded by NIOSH and the Toxic Disease Registry. Dr. Greenberg is a board member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He is also the moderator of the Occ-Env-Med-L Chatboard - the chatboard of ACOEM/AOEC] Dear Ms. Kirkland and Dr. Greenberg, Thank you. I am glad to hear you were sorry I was offended. But it is not just me. There are many people being negatively impacted over this issue. I was not quite clear in understanding your message. Are you sorry I am offended or are you apologizing for an insensitive and not well thought out action? Regardless, it would carry more weight in sincerity, if it were shared on the Occ-Env-Med Board. Since I don't know you, I don't know if you really understand what poor taste this jest is. I will attach an old document (2004) so that you may understand better how lives are being destroyed over this matter. And why it is no laughing matter for many. For some, it is equivalent to making fun of cancer patients. Also, if you would be so kind to explain, I would also like to understand how this ended up as an official page of the FDA/HHS. _Toxic Mold Neuro Damage_ (http://www.occhealthnews.net/fda-mold.htm) _http://www.occhealthnews.net/fda-mold.htm_ (http://www.occhealthnews.net/fda-mold.htm) Thank you again for your concern that I was offended. I hope to see some reference to your hopefully new understanding of the seriousness of the mold issue on the UNC listserv. In other words, a public apology to those made severely ill from mold, would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Sharon Kramer ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
