Guest guest
My husband had the same symptoms that have been described here all of 2007 but he would not check it out. Finally the pain got to him and he went to an Orthopedic Dr. in Nov. of last year. He needed a hip replacement which he had on Dec. 13th, 2007. He followed the instructions very closely and was in pain for a few days then it gradually started to get better. Within about three months, he was painting and putting trip in our laundry room and was so disgusted with himself that he had not done it much sooner as he no longer had the pain. It came from his buttocks around to the groin just like you said. He has gone fishing, does the yard, built a deck etc. Life has been so much better. I wish I could say the same but unfortunately I had back surgery in '99 and several years later I developed neuropathy so he takes care of the necessities around the house (except the cooking) He dislikes that and wants my home cooking. About all I can say is to see that kind of Dr. unless you already have and see what is said. I wish you the best. Lois
