Guest guest
Hi everyone! If you remember my daughter Emma who is 3 had tethered cord surgery for a thickened filum back in May. She has her 3 month post op checkup (actually more like 3 1/2 months since it's 3 months after her 2 week followup) in a few weeks. I'm just curious, what do they do? The 2 week post op was nothing. (Literally, I feel like I could have emailed him a picture of her incision!) Is the 3 month any more significant? At this point if she's had no problems from the surgery we should be past the point of complications right? Does she continue to have checkups every 3 months for the first year? (I think someone said that) If so for what???? Literally I feel like they ask if they're are problems, I say no and that is that! Will/do they need another MRI at some point in most kids/people?
