Guest guest
Hello, I am a 65-year-old retired woman and have just learned that the big bones in my always-painful, right arthritic foot are full of cysts. The podiatrist suggested referring me to a major medical center to see if my foot could be fixed. He said that, if so, I would need to be in a cast and remain in bed for a number of months. I think that he may mean that I would need to keep my foot elevated for a number of months. Has anyone heard of or experienced this condition? I have had surgery on both feet in the past and managed to live through it - barely. Bone surgery has to be the worst! I fear that my options at this time are to try to have this newly diagnosed disaster fixed or to become unable to walk. I feel that I am between a rock and a hard place. I haven't been able to go for walks for over a year and I WANT TO WALK!!! Any help would be very much appreciated. Jude
