Guest guest
No, I'm here too. I've been doing a lot more reading than posting lately, got too much going on at once. My understanding of an association is it's random at what things are amiss not being able to pinpoint any one genetic flaw. When was born, it was association, then switched back to syndrome. I too could care less what the heck they called it, let's find out what we can so we can better educate parents, teachers, drs. etc.....It's hard just sitting around waiting to see when the next shoe will drop. We've been very fortunate for the last several years with major bad news very limited. The first few years you became so numb to what all the " experts " had to say and just listened to what you wanted to. Nothing ever sounded very positive and it was always way more than you wanted your child to endure. It was a bit of a horror story to look back now, but I don't remember it very vividly anymore, (apparantly by choice ha ha). Now everything else just seems so minor. Like the saying goes....don't sweat the small stuff. Enough from me already.
