Guest guest
Emma's a week and a day post surgery and I'm having a hard time keeping her still! Not still, but you know she's 3, she gets off the couch and JUMPS off. I'm holding her hand and she's hopping! She's supposed to be on restricted activity for another week till she gets her bandage off. They said no rough play, no lifting, no stairs, etc. Well, she's already done the stairs when we weren't looking. We're doing our best to keep her from rough play or lifting but.... So how strict are the restrictions? Could she bust it open and cause a leak at this point? Her NSG said " It's more of a guideline at this age, good luck enforcing it " so does that mean if I'm not looking and she runs across the house or jumps off the coffee table (not that she's supposed to do that no matter what!) she'll be fine? I wonder if she can go outside to play, as long as she isn't playing soccer or climbing the swingset - ie, playing in the sandbox, etc. Thanks!
