Guest guest Posted March 8, 2007 Report Share Posted March 8, 2007 It seems that those of us who need to lab work done run into the ever present " fumed up " waiting rooms. I found out from the main office here in Vegas that you can request that your blood is drawn in your car. They require you to call the location you want to go to and request the accommodation. Then they have you fax your lab sheet and copies of your ins card. Tell them the date you would like. They will have a tech be f/f or as f/f as they can. All I have to do is call when I am on my way and when we get there to call and the tech will come out immediately. My best friend and I have it set up for tomorrow and they already have the trays prepped with all necessary vials etc. Since my friend is highly reactive to synthetic OH- they agreed to not have the tech use any of those hand santizers. I had these all in effect until quest acquired APL. But now they are accommodating and they said its a reasonable accommodation at all their locations nationally. If anyoone gets any static they can call the main office in that city and speak with their " mobile " department and they will help with getting these accommodations. Apparently, there is a perk to being CI, we get to avoid the lines. All in all, I'd prefer the LINES!!!!!!!!!!! Angel Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
