Guest guest
Hi: My name is Bill Haas, I am 45 and was diagnosed Type II on 10/30/98. I think I probably have been diabetic most of my life since I was diagnosed borderline at age 5 and (looking back now that I know much more about the disease) have had periods of diabetic activity the same as one that drove me to the doctor the last time many times over the last 20 years. I am currently on Glucotrol XL 10 mg a day pending the results of my 3 month blood work which was taken Tuesday. I have lost approximately 50 lbs since the onset of this latest attack (in the summer)through disease diet and exercise so I am almost at the point where I was at age 18 (6'3, 180 lbs). I currently live in the Tampa area of Florida although I am by birth and for the first 36 years of my life a New Englander raised outside of Boston. I look forward to the conversations and sharing of information this board has to offer. Bill Haas " Our knowledge can only be finite, while our ignorance must necessarily be infinite.
