Guest guest
OK, folks -here I am. My name is Even, and although that looks a bit strange, it is a common Norwegian male first name. (And for those who wonder, the name Odd is also a common first name!) I work as a research librarian specializing in electronic information sources of all sorts and work at the University Library of Trondheim. I have diabetes II, diagnosed 10 years ago, but did not start on medication untill two and a half year ago, until then it seemed that diet and excersise was enough. Present medication is mindiab (glipizide) and glucophage, manages to keep everything nice and easy. I have not many problems with my disease, probably becaus I discovered it very early. But in spite of good control (OK - maybe it was not that good a while?) I have developed feet problems - mostly characterized by loss of feeling in the toes and occasional wounds that will not go away and of course the fact that I can get very bad blisters without feeling a thing. So long walking tours, the joy of every Norwegian, is down a bit. That is it for now - be hearing from you!
