Guest guest
- thank you for the clarification. I was mistaken about the process. Ursula - mom to (15) and Macey (13, CVID) http://www.primaryimmune.org http://www.jmfworld.org http://caringbridge.org/ga/macey/ GVHD Just thought I would mention that GVHD is not when the reciepients body attack the donor cells. It is the other way around. The donor immune cells realize they are in a forign place and they are what attack the body. It's the immune system that will attack areas that are forgin. In a normal organ transplant yes its the reciepants immune system that will attack the forgin organ. Just an FYI My son had a transplant for Hyper IGM
