Guest guest
lol - oh, Honey, I'm certainly diagnosable, but who knows if I could get a doctor to sit still long enough to tell me my feet and hands fall asleep... (Sorry, long running joke that I know I'm crazy, but not about this...) Why, my foot's asleep and tingly right now as I write...I'm working on getting what I now suspect are seizures diagnosed (dizzy spells that aren't vertigo and aren't cardiac-related as well as episodes of severe disorientation). Peripheral Neuropathy is so far down my list that I mention it but never get to discuss it fully with my doctors - they aren't gonna try to treat it anyway, I figure, just might use it as information while diagnosing something else. ~Haley Beth <bethlakey@...> wrote: Haley, Thank you so much, I will check that out. My tingling feels like pin pricks or a foot waking up, except it's in my left hand, foot, and face, it is driving me bonkers. I hate it. Have you been diagnosed with peripheal neuropathy? I really don't know what I have. A few years ago I had access to a FIR sauna, and I thought it did help the nerve pain. I take a lot of hot showers. thanks, Beth > > FYI - I don't recall where I found the info, but I've been taking a sublingual form of B12 Methylcobalamin that I read can help deal with peripheral neuropathy, and after a few months of it, I am having less trouble with numbness - used to be pretty much anytime I lay down for more than a few minutes I'd get numbness in my hands and feet, and it's bothering me less often now. It's kind of tricky to find the sublingual form to that it actually works, but I found this by Natural Factors through iHerb online. > > ~Haley > ~Haley
Guest guest
I'm sorry to hear about that. I hope you will find some relief soon. My neuro. had me try Lyrica awhile back, and I hated it. I felt drunk all the time. I guess there isn't much they can do, and all my tests keep turning up Ok. Have you tried hot baths or showers for the tingling? thanks, Beth > > lol - oh, Honey, I'm certainly diagnosable, but who knows if I could get a doctor to sit still long enough to tell me my feet and hands fall asleep...
