Beth,

It's the main nerve that comes into the face. If you google

trigeminal nerve you'll find alot more info than me trying to

explain it. I have come across articles stating one of the causes

could be from environmental toxins. The condition is called

trigeminal neuralgia. You can search this too. I can't remember off

hand if any of the articles had mentioned fungi. If you find

anything that you feel is very interesting, please post it.
