Guest guest
After learning of how costly assistance can be, and with direction from others, I applied for SSI. I wanted to ensure that I had that extra money as a resource for anything that my son may need. I was blind sided and thought that he would automatically qualify. At that point, I was getting billed for all the services that were given to him. After applying I was told that I did not qualify due to my income. The SSI worker expressed her regret, and I felt a little overwhelmed. However, thanks to God he opened other doors for us and my son is doing very well. At this point I know we will not qualify. __________________________________________________
