Grapeseed extract

Does anyone know if there are any sugars in grapeseed extract? Even natural

ones?

It seems to be in a sweetleaf stevia product, the liquid stevia. Maybe it is

the base for the stevia. But I couldn't bring myself to buy it without first

knowing if grapeseed extract is ok.

I took grape seed and it did nothing for Candidiasis. I learned it was an immune

system builder.

Grape FRUIT Seed extract is for Candidiasis. I tried it and it worked great for

the treatment of it. Like all of them, it did become less effective within 3-4

weeks.

The question was, does grapeseed extract have sugar? NOT is it helpful as an

antifungal or whatnot.

A pure extract may contain alcohol, in which case it would contain sugar in that

form.

I am sorry that I made the assumption. I have not been on the discussion group

for a couple of weeks and had 400 emails. I never could find the first thread.

They really need a better way of doing this with a discussion board. Thank you

for the clear clarification.

My son Dominic reacted badly to it, his night terrors returned.

By giving it first thing in the morning in smaller doses, alternate

days he seems to tolerate it fine now

You could also look at virgin coconut oil or olive leaf extract as

two natural alternatives that are being discussed by chelation groups

in Britain. The two extracts below are from a good discussion group

and might be of help to you.

All the best

My son tolerates it best when taken with no-fenol (www.houstonni.com)-

and definitely in the am.

Maybe?? Sorry. Is that what people are giving for yeast?

I believed I asked this question of Andy Cutler in an e-mail and he

advised against it as it kills the bacteria (and a lot of other

things). The die-off of the yeast is supposed to be very hard on

the kids and not reccomended. I welcome any positive responses to

using this though.

(I could be mixing up Grapeseed and Grapefruit seed extract as well).

If you mean grapeFRUIT seed extract for yeast, I use the Nutribiotic

liquid, which tastes strong, or you can choose capsules. Start with

one drop in the morning, or 1/2 capsule, to see how your child

tolerates it.

re: grapeseed extract

Yeah, its pretty nasty, he won't take it in juice. Ice cream is

self-defeating but I grapeseed extractdon't know how else to get it in him, will

the little

bit of sugar and the extract cancel each other out? I did give him a

spoonful last night with a few drops, and he was complaining of joint pain

in his knee already, but no other symptoms of die off -- he's got the ezema

and an anal rash that is bothering him as well as a lot of mucous and his

stools were more pale than they should have been -- these are the reasons I

thought I should try it (sorry that is a bit more info that some people

might want!) Thanks for the baking soda idea. Keep reading contradictory

thing about the yogurt, some places say eat it, others say avoid all dairy.

I am giving him these probiotic tablets for kids.

Again thanks for the input!

Use 1-2 drops in a glass of juice...make sure it is stirred, do not touch

directly onto tongue...nasty.

Take 1 No-Phenol digestive enzyme 30 minutes after the grapefruit seed

extract. The two are a powerful yeast killing combo.

Make sure to take probiotics, but not from dairy if possible. Healthy Start

Natren (has to be refrigerated) in some apple sauce is good.

Yeast die off can be bad. Mimics when yeast is high, so sometimes difficult

to tell which is which. Behavior may get more agressive, excema,

self-stimming, headaches, achiness, fever, and even throwing up. All signs

of die-off. Fluffy, light colored stool, or loose watery stool. Give 1/4 tsp

baking soda...will absorb the toxins released from the yeast dying quickly.

Makes child much more comfortable. Activated charcoal will also work, but

baking soda is just as effective.

A few days ago someone mentioned taking Grapeseed oil extract. I went to the

GNC store but only found Grapeseed extract caplets. Is that the same as

Grapeseed oil? I also have forgotten the reasons to take it?

Thanks,

Sue

I actually take the grapeseed extract throughout the day, when ever I

need a drink pretty much....you probably already know that in orange

juice you can hardly taste it.

About pumpkinseeds, thats something I had forgotten about, my

naturopath recommended eatting a lot of them too.

Anyway I take my vit c and other things with the GSE, but I'm not 100%

sure if thats the best way to take it....frito may know. She's our

own little chemist :)
