Guest guest
The holiday inn is the cleanest and mold free (left others, that were cheaper, dont even try!!) but the Holdiay Inn is very chemically. Ive seen their back room and maid's chemical clenaers. I booked a room, slept in my car and just showered and quickly ate someof the provided condinental breakfast. barb1283 wrote: > Was the Holiday Inn near his office okay?? Guest guest
I also had problems staying at the Holiday Inn in Pocomoke (and I don't think it was entirely mold free - at least not the bathroom, but it's rare to find a hotel bathroom that is entirely mold free), I would have managed okay if I had been able to open the window, but their windows don't open. I have had much better luck staying at the Hampton Inn in Chincoteague - it's about a 35-40 minute drive to Pocomoke, but it's a beautiful place and all the rooms have sliding glass doors with little balconies (some right on the water). It's also extremely new, clean and mold free as best as I could tell. Guest guest
I've stayed at the Holiday Inn about 4 or 5 times over the last 4 yrs. and never had a problem. Everyone is different so I don't know what to say. Others that I know have also stayed there without any difficulties but others have. I guess it depends on how sensitive you are. Sue I HATE TO HEAR THIS, I FELL LIKE JUST GETTING THERE IS GOING TO WIPE ME OUT, I THOUGHT THEY HAD A CLEAN ROOM FOR DR. SHOEMAKERS PATIENTS.-- ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.

Guest guest
I will add the caveat that I did not stay in the supposed " GREEN ROOM " , which is one where they don't use the chemicals, at least on the sheets, towels, etc. as I understand it. Where are you coming from? If you're coming from the North, there are hotels in Salisbury. I personally must have a room where I can open the window (at least during part of the day)because hotel air is always worse than outdoor air (I did this even in New York City). So, you might call and find some that have windows that open. If you're coming from the south (i.e., flying into Norfolk), then Chincoteague is on your way, so you would not be doing any extra travel - you just need a bit more time before your appointment. Overall, the drive there is not too bad if you fly into Baltimore (I don't recommend flying into National (what they call Reagan nowadays, I think) or Dulles as both require you get thru/out of DC). Better yet, if you can fly into Salisbury, that would be the easiest option. I fly into Baltimore because I visit my sister in Laurel when I go out there.
