Guest guest Posted December 17, 2008 Report Share Posted December 17, 2008 Well Great news here....I saw a new doc yesterday and she actually " listened " . She is going to help me alot!! Bad news is she found more neuro symptoms that I didnt even know I had. I knew that my neuropathy was creeping " up " for some reason....used to be only in my legs, now it is in my arms too but I didnt realize I was losing strength on the right side (hand grip etc). Actually thinking back, I havent been able to open jars and things lately but I guess I didnt place much importance in it. Seems my neuro symptoms are ascending. She said many of my symptoms are upper motor neuron, I knew I had UMN bowel and reflexes but she says there are more. That points to the brain unfortunately. But I had a brain MRI in Feb that was fine. Can't a SCI cause UMN symptoms?? Anyone else out there having ascending symptoms?
