surgery. what a day,i wont get in to that right now,but i can say my test could

of been done home, mailed & they could of sent me a letter. the nero (which i

never saw befor) told me that i now have a bnt brain stem, its c shaped..im

gussing cause the toncil is herniated more.??.. but has anyone heard of that?

how serious?and why? im still waiting from their reply e-mail.they want my back

to heal more,go back then discuss the decumpression srgy. its not cheap to keep

going back & forth either.

I'd get a second opinion locally ... It seems a bit over-simplified (their

explanation) and an absent causal explanation would make me want a second

opinion. I have Chiari and tethered cord (from lipomeningocele). The only time

I've had what I would call interfering symptoms from the Chiari was when the

tether was pulling tightly. An untethering took most of the Chiari symptoms

away ... I still have the malformation, but the symptoms are definitely

" livable " . I have yet to need a decompression, but that's not to say others

don't - but always a second opinion - it is cost and health saver in many cases.

Lorodosis is the spine at the lower back curving in (makes the butt stick

out more...the back is in, the butt is out) usually accompanied by scoliosis.

If you stand against the wall there will be a significant space (there is for

many without lordosis as well) where your back does not touch the wall.
