Guest guest
That was very well said. I have been in EMS for over 19 years, raised a child by myself and worked on a average of 70 to 80 hrs per week. Every time I tried to go back to school the overtime (mandatory) would kick in and I would end up having to drop out of class. I always said I would be a medic until I died but that may not happen now. I have had more CE over the past 19 yrs that should have earned me a degree plus I took my intermediate and my paramedic at a college and got no credit for it, because they didn't do that back then. I am with you on the oldtimers, the pioneers of the EMS should be grandfathered in.
