Federal, state officials warn about mold

Kansans whose homes were damaged by storms should be cautious when

returning to them, say officials from the Federal Emergency Management

Agency and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Storm-

damaged homes can be susceptible to mold and mildew, which can cause

serious illness.

The officials said flooded structures should be dried thoroughly and
