Sicko is not a fringe film, it's about as mainstream as a film can get in

the financial sense. And that is the sense that matters. Fahrenheit 9/11 was

the most popular documentary ever. You can't expect theatre programmers to

ignore that, even in the 'reddest' of 'red states'. The broken healthcare

system is a mainstream issue. The people who are being hit the hardest by

the mess we are in now are from every party and every demographic. I doubt

if its running in a lot of non-urban areas yet, but in a few weeks it

probably will be.
