Guest guest
I'm concerned about the use of chlorine dioxide gas to experiment (in the words of a CA gov't official) on a large, vital CA hospital, to remove mold by a very controversial and questionable, corrosive, and seemingly dangerous method, by Giuliani's company, with EPA consent. If they are using this on hospitals it is only a matter of time before schools and other buildings may be experimented on with the EPA consent. Giuliani's Partners and Bio One.seem to be using a very questionable method to fight mold, one that is considered by some scientists to be dangerous and ineffective. From what I understand Dr. Strauss was interviewed by the Ventura County Star and seemingly they refused to print his assessment of this process. This is an important article: http://vcreporter.com/article.php?id=4853 & IssueNum=130 The research seems to reflect that this does not work to completely rid a building of mold, nor does it remove the toxins, right? Rudy G's company, it seems, is using a CA hospital and thus, the American public in Ventura County, to experiment on, with a method that is called controversial, ineffective, and possibly dangerous, sanctioned by our CA and USA gov't. This is worrisome to me. Will he be permitted to continue to experiment on vital hospitals for profit, using a method unproven in the lab and real world? The EPA seems to be allowing him to justify it, using his own research and letting him experiment on a vital hospital. Is there something wrong with that picture? In researching the use of chlorine dioxide gas as a fumigant, we have not yet seen any research that would indicate it removes toxins or should be used as an alternative to removal of contaminated or wetted building materials. Is anyone else concerned?
