The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is seeking expert consultants in Fungal

Diseases including aspergillosis and zygomycosis, among other categories listed

below. This request was made to members of the Infectious Disease Society of

America, and posted on their web site. If any of our board members are members

of that society, it would be a good opportunity to get our message out there. If

we have any board members who are credentialed enough, though not members of

that society, they should get in touch with the FDA, directly, to try to be

considered for the position of consultant. If we don't try to change the system

from within, we have no right to complain that the system is stacked against us.

The following was posted on the Infectious Disease Society Of America website.

Drug Administration (FDA) has contacted IDSA to solicit nominees from among the

meetings between the agency and industry or to work on other projects. Areas

Rahman, IDSA, at erahman@... as soon as possible but no later than
