Guest guest
We have the reverse osmosis system for years and love it. Guest guest
Reverse osmosis works quite well and it removes a lot of other toxic materials (e.g., chlorine). You can buy one at Home Depot, Lowe's etc. They are fairly easy to install. You will need to use the slot in your kitchen sink where you typically have a sprayer unless you happen to have a sink with extra slots or are brave enough to try to cut one yourself. The filters are extremely easy to replace, as well. B. Any suggestions on a water filter to remove flouride from our water? I've heard a reverse osmosis is best. Guest guest
- do you mind giving a brand recommendation? Thanks, Marti > > Reverse osmosis works quite well and it removes a lot of other toxic > materials (e.g., chlorine). You can buy one at Home Depot, Lowe's > etc. They are fairly easy to install. Guest guest
I have the Whirlpool WHER25. It has worked well for 5.5 years - I had one in my other house and also had no problems. The replacement filters can be pricey (about $45.00 for both the post and pre filters), but I don't have to replace them that often - about every 9 months. I've only replaced the reverse osmosis membrane twice (that's around $50, as well). and I use the water for cooking, as well as drinking. You might want to look and see if Consumer Reports has any reviews. The nice thing is that it saves buying bottled water and reduces all the plastic water bottles you use. I fill up glass water bottles and put those in the fridge. B. > > > > Any suggestions on a water filter to remove flouride from our > > water? I've heard a reverse osmosis is best.
