You're right, Harold! That's why I whip out the ol' pen and pad when I need

to talk to the cashier/clerks/manager at department stores now. Give them

the message first that I can't hear so they'll be no suprises in the

begininng. A friend recently told me that " kindness works better than force "

and I've witnessed it myself. I just put " all my cards in the table now " so

to speak.
