Okay ... the person feels listless, has aches and pains, trouble breathing, gets sleepy, and has gut pain and/or indigestion. As the lactic acidosis worsens, the person feels really cold, develops low blood pressure, and has an irregular heartbeat that looks wacky on an EKG (sick sinus syndrome, or a-V block).
