Well it started off in 2002 they found a mass on her lung very small. they

decided not to operate or do chemo she went to ucsf and such in 2004 they looked

at her mass again it was shrinking on its own at this time they said it was

cancer an adenocarcinoma. then in 2005 around janurary she started complaining

harder and harder to breathe yet tumor so small was still shrinking. she then

started becoming really out of it all of a sudden wouldn't respond, which to my

mother was unimaginable she was not only a paralegal but itallian and talked so

so much so this was strange. hospital discharge papers said allergic reaction to

unknown substance whe would get better at hospital come home and get worse. then

she started having racing heart beat fever reoccurent pnumonia that wouldnt

respond to treatment. the hospital referred her to hospice but out of luck she

demanded a culture of sputum and was referred to another specialist who founf

aspergillus in her lung which he treated

with itraconocozole. which made her feel awful it reacted with some of her

breathing meds. she kept going into like small comas, docs kept releasing her

never telling us why but looking at discharge papers said allergic response. in

may 2005 my mom wigged out had her whole house tested for mold in the air, came

back negative. She old me she was getting so much sicker so fast she said she

knew it wasnt the cancer it felt different, I thought my Mom was just clinging

to hope, she then after getting negative results said well it just must be me.

She get really nonresponsive for a few days and was rushed to the hospice house,

they were she would day with in the night her oxygen was up all the way, her

breaths slowed to like 4 a minute, she was sweating and freezing whole bit. Next

morning I woke up to find my mom sitting up painting her toe nails feeling

great. She stayed at hospice house 2 weeks then she was doing so good they

discharged her she begged she said please let me

stay I feel so much better away from home. I told her to come to my house but

she said no she went home. A week later she quit responding and they kept

increasing morphine so she could be more comfortable and then she died June 7,

2005. I was so shocked. A year latter I started getting sick having hives

couldnt swallow lost 60 lbs they doc kept discharging me allergic reaction to

unknown substance we then realisex that our bathroom had been taken over by mold

under the paint under the tile. then my fiance josh told me after we cleaned

out my mom's rental house that she had previously tested for mold. he was hired

to do the carpet and vinyl in the kitchen he moved the fridge and saw that there

was so much mold the whole subfloor was rotten all hadto be torn out. he totally

didnt think anything of it or about my mom's claims. then I realized he said

same mold in our bathroom, aspergillus. we have moved and I am much better I did

not get an infection from it just an

allergy my mom being weakend had it grow in a fungal ball in her lung and it

killed her, she was right. I should have listened more. My Mom was only 50 years

old and her cancer was under 3 mm and shrinking never grew bigger in three

years. No I know the aspergillus killed her. If you have it, MOVE NOW. It is

somewhere in your house, and often times air tests clean but its there just

hidden. aspergillus is no joke, even I statted getting out of it and non

responsive due to it. Hope this helps

her symptoms were strange

confusion

tachacardia, rapid heart beat

sweating

fever

problems breathing

poor circulation

Would like to hear your mothers story, how she got sick, what

treatment

she sought and what happened? I may have same problem.
