Guest guest
Dave, you certainly have the right idea about insulin. I never achieved any degree of control with pills. Tried diet alone and finally my endocrinologist said I would have to take insulin. Hope you get to talk to your doc and he tries you on insulin. I think the main reasons most diabetics fight insulin are - 1. They think that somehow having to take insulin means they're in the last stages of diabetes. 2. Some cringe at the idea of giving themselves injections. It becomes a part of your life style and I'm glad my doctor recommended insulin. Sounds like you've got it nailed. Figuring how it all works for us as an individual is the key to this sucker. -- Dave -- April 16, 1999 t2 08/98 Glucophage Davor's daily aphorism: A man needs a good memory after he has lied. <snip>
