Guest guest
I'm responding to what a member wrote and I quote: " Many people here seem to think that low income people have some kind of legal right to have housing somewhere. They don't. " EVERYONE HUMAN BEING ON THIS PLANET SHOULD HAVE A LEGAL RIGHT TO HAVE A HOME! Everyone's situation is different and we can not judge those who can not afford to pay for basic necessities such as food, clothes and/or shelter. I am considered low income where I live but not because I'm not willing to work or am lazy but because I got sick with toxic mold exposure. And even when I was working making decent money, where I live, it deosn't matter because you still can't afford to rent or buy on your own unless you are making $60k+ a year (and that's on the low side). MY CHILD HAS A LEGAL RIGHT TO HAVE A HOME SIMPLY DUE TO THE FACT THAT SHE WAS BORN AND IS A HUMAN BEING! AND SO DO I, even though I am " low income " ! Sorry for the anger but I take personal offense to this and do apologize if I missunderstood what you where saying but I don't think I misunderstood.
