familial norms out of the norm??

Has anyone ever heard of all the females in a family having labs that

indicate anemia (Fe)? All the females, regardless of age, in this one

family, are, as the one person I know says, " low in iron. " Not the

men. I do not have the labs myself to look at. This piqued my

interest and I wondered if anyone has ever run into this.
